DIMAPUR, APRIL 27 (MExN): Shalom Coffee House in partnership with CFCI-N presented Bikers’ Fellowship today at School of Music and Art, Purana Bazaar. The theme for the event was “Wheel for Jesus.”
Highlights of the events included Pastor John and Mhonjan Humtsoe, event coordinator, raising the slogan “Wheel for Jesus” and the audience responding with a loud “vroom”. The bikers on their part revved up their engines and kept honking their horns.
Pastor John, Victory in the Word Ministry (VITWM) gave a brief speech and spoke about the purpose of motorbikes in society. He quoted Ps 35:5-7 and asked the gathering to allow Jesus to be the master and guide.
Humtsoe gave the vote of thanks and was appreciative of the sponsors. The event was sponsored by Wheel The Bike For Jesus and Royal Enfield, and supported by Uniglobe Enterprise and Yamaha Yepthomi Speeds.
Earlier Aloke, a student of SOMA, presented special numbers. The program was chaired by Paukizone Mariem, Miss Peren 2012. Lighted balloons were also lit by members of the press along with Pastor John.
Pastor John later flagged off the bikers who headed to Agri Expo and then to City Tower.
