Why Always In A hurry Mr. VIP?

•-Through this article I would like to reflect my personal opinion on the amount of unnecessary hassle caused to the common man, due to the blatant behavior of the prerogative.
I really find it intriguing with the amount of security personnel possessed by the VIPs’ and ‘self proclaimed’ VIPs’, I mean really, do u need a dozen armed personnel to escort you to your office? Do you live 24/7 under life threatening circumstances? Are you staying in a place where there is a constant state of war? Do you not even trust your own people that you need so many guards armed to the teeth to give security? Yes, it is illogical for me to say that you don’t require any sort of ‘protection’ yes I believe it is an exclusive right for the privileged and a necessary evil too. But what I am trying to point out is that, Firstly every Tom, Dick and Harry has a tail of escorts behind him, even though it may seem unnecessary, Secondly, I noticed that some of the relatives of politicians misuse this service for their own personal work, even though the concerned person may not be present in the vehicle. Thirdly, in Kohima and Dimapur especially in the main town areas where roads are very small and congested, supplemented with the rise of vehicular traffic, it has become a pain staking effort to manoeuvre or drive during peak hours, but VIP escorts seems to have no concern whatsoever and seem adamant to overtake the stranded traffic come what may, Also the attitude of the security personnel too reflects an uncompromising behavior, shouting and threatening the general public even though there is hardly any space left. Is this autocratic behavior justified, given the fact that it is the very same people who placed them in power?
But you know what; I have some suggestions exclusively for those within the corridors of power. Firstly let me put forward the ‘impossible’ proposal, i.e. by widening the very tiny roads in Nagaland, but that may be a herculean task, therefore the second suggestion maybe much more feasible; since u VIPs’ seem in such a mad rush round the clock, why don’t all of you organize yourselves and avail a chopper service, which I am sure you can afford it, that way you can save time and also help to mitigate the traffic woes.  There is a famous saying,’ you don’t get respect but earn it’, but in Nagaland, our leaders seems to be in contradiction to this statement. It is time for our ‘so called’ leaders’ to introspect and on their leadership skills.
