DIMAPUR, JULY 9 (MExN): Eastern Naga Peoples’ Organization (ENPO) on Saturday said it will not allow under any circumstances the formation of un-mandated organization/revolutionary group within Eastern Nagaland jurisdiction.
It also reiterated the ban on the Sovereign Republic of Freeland (SRF) within ENPO jurisdiction while basing on the 2010 resolution and subsequent re-affirmation on February 2016.
This was resolved during a joint consultative meeting with the federating tribal units, frontal organizations, ENGBU, ENWO and ENSF in the presence of the Sovereign Republic of Freeland (SRF) on July 7 in Tuensang.
The house also decided to dismantle any SRF based establishment/office within ENPO jurisdiction. In this regard, it empowered the ENSF to immediately take further course of action on the same, if any.
Basing on Longleng resolution of September 29, 2005 and in principle of the same, the house further resolved that, there should not be any form of threat, intimidation to the ENPO officials, tribal hoho officials, frontal organization officials and the banned SRF member aftermath the adoption of the above resolutions.
It also said members of the banned SRF should continue to work for the people of Eastern Nagaland under the guidance and direction of their respective Hohos.
Further, the house unanimously resolved that, any press statement/decisions concerning the people and land of Eastern Nagaland in general by any organization(s) should always be consulted with the apex body-ENPO.
