Will the Nagaland Super League bring positive changes in Nagaland football? Give Reasons

Yes:
•    The Nagaland Super League has the potential to bring positive changes to football in Nagaland.

1. Increased Exposure for Local Talent: The league provides a platform for local players to showcase their skills. This exposure can lead to better opportunities for players, including recognition by scouts from higher leagues.

2. Youth Engagement and Development: The Super League can attract young talents and keep them engaged in sports. This can help in the overall development of youth in Nagaland and encourage them to pursue football more seriously.

3. Improvement in Infrastructure: With the introduction of a formal league, there is likely to be investment in football infrastructure such as better training facilities, stadiums, and coaching programs, ultimately benefiting the entire football ecosystem in Nagaland.

4. Promotion of Local Culture and Community Engagement: The league can promote local culture and community spirit by involving local fans and organizations. Matches can serve as community events, fostering a sense of pride and unity through sports.

5. Potential for Economic Growth: As the league gains popularity, it can boost local economies through increased tourism, attendance at matches, and sponsorship opportunities. This economic boost can further enhance the development of football in the region.

•    I believe it will and some reasons are: Exposing young talents; a way for the youngsters to pursue football as a career; promoting support from public may result in brand endorsement and other opportunities.

•    The local youth will get great opportunity to showcase their talent and get selected for the country. It can be a significant step in the right direction if backed by strong governance, investment, and community support.

•    The league has started of pretty big and promising. I hope that the league will only get bigger and better even if not so if this league can continue to follow how it started then it will still be very promising. I think it's safe to say that the NSL is a breakthrough in the field of sports in Nagaland! Growing up in the early 2000's it was a far-fetched dream to say that we want to become a footballer in life but today the Nagaland government is making this dream for many youngsters a reality.

•    The fire and the interest in local football with the upcoming infrastructure and the facilities are very positive... We may still be at the bottom but we have started and it’s very encouraging.

•    Yes, much needed push will be given. However, still a lot needed to be done.

•    Of course!! Look how wild are the fans

No:

•    It will be mostly confined to few professional players hardly go for talent search throughout the entire state.

•    It will die due to corruption

•    Sorry, but this league will disappear in few years

Other:

•    Hope so

•    With Chümoukedima stadium, we need Dimapur stadium

•    Shift to other district too.

•    Can’t say

•    Wider platform, wider audience, stunning awards but lacks in proper administration.
