Wingmei of Tizit unit emerged as the first ever Mr. Mon 2019 defeating 16 other contestants from different units while Carry of Phomching unit and Honkup of Mon Unit bagged first and second runners up respectively. The winners walked away with cash price, trophy and merit certificate. The sub title winners are Chipai of Mon Unit for Mr. Personality, Honlem of Mon Unit for Mr. Physique and Nokpai of Chen Unit for Mr. Photogenic. The event was organised by Elite Team on January 13 at Local Ground, Mon in collaboration with Mon District Administration and Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Promotion Council as part of ongoing Mon International Trade and Expo 2019.
