Winner takes it all at Hornbill International Motor Rally 2011

KOHIMA, DECEMBER 4 (DIPR): The Grand Finale prize distribution ceremony of Hornbill International Motor Rally was held at Indira Gandhi Stadium on 3rd December 2011 with Parliamentary Secretary, Youth Resources and Sports, Naiba Konyak as the Chief Guest.
Speaking on occasion, he said that the Department of Youth Resources & Sports is proud to sponsor this International Motor Rally which has become one of the most important motor sports in India. He added that the addition of Motor Autocross Event and the World War II Peace Rally has added new dimension to an event that has taken Nagaland and the North East into the international domain. The Government of Nagaland will continue to support the rally and look at every aspect on how to improve it further. He informed that the World War II Peace Rally 2011 will remind all on the history of the battle of Kohima. He congratulated all the winners of the Autocross Rally and encouraged the other participants. He thanked all the sponsors and corporate partners who have contributed towards the success of the program and specially thanked the J.K. Tyres.
Manager Motor Sports J.K. Tyres, Hari Singh the Guest of Honour further assured to help and sponsor the Hornbill International Motor Rally in the near future. He also said that it is wonderful to witness the large number of participants not only from India but from other countries also.
The program was chaired by the President, Federation of Adventure and Motor Sports Association of North East India (FAMSANE), Abu Metha, welcome address was delivered by member NASAM, Tokaho Kinimi, special number by the Tetseo Sisters followed by dinner party.
