The Wipro earthian Nagaland Chapter held the second edition of the Wipro earthian awards for 2023 at Kuda Youth Hall, Kuda Village on June 1.

DIMAPUR, JUNE 2 (MExN): The Wipro earthian Nagaland Chapter held the second edition of the Wipro earthian awards for 2023 at Kuda Youth Hall, Kuda Village on June 1. This event, organized to recognize excellence and promote professional development in education, celebrated the outstanding achievements of students and educators.
Among the seven entries, Vision Higher Secondary School, Christian Higher Secondary School, and Community Educational Centre School Dimapur were adjudged the winners. Each winning school was awarded a sum of Rs 10,000 along with a certificate of recognition. Additionally, Rajeshwari Karuna School Tuli was lauded for their consecutive two-year victory at the national level of the Wipro earthian annual award 2023, a press release stated.
The awards segment celebrated the outstanding achievements of students and educators whilst in joint venture with the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland, emphasized the importance of such initiatives in fostering educational growth.
Educational institutions from in and around Dimapur also participated in a teacher orientation and training session, providing valuable insights and practical strategies for implementing the Wipro earthian program within their institutions.
The event was graced by the presence of Nivizolie Meyase, Sr Sub Divisional Education Officer, District Education Officer (Charge) Dimapur and Subonenba Longkumer, Director, Community Educational Centre Society. They commended the efforts of all participants and highlighted the significance of recognizing and nurturing educational excellence.
The program saw enthusiastic participation from 15 schools, with 57 students and 36 teachers gracing the event.
