Kohima, July 15 (MExN): The Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Rangapahar, Nagaland, conducted an extensive outreach programme through Carvaan Talkies in the state from July 14-15.
The objective of the programme was to enhance recruitment into the Indian Army, according to a press release from the PRO & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Manipur, Nagaland, and Southern Arunachal Pradesh.
The ARO Rangapahar coordinated with the Assam Rifles to conduct the programme at Mount Moriah School, Jubilee Memorial College, and Canaan Christian Higher Secondary School, all located in Mokokchung.

A motivational video titled “Join Indian Army as Agniveer” was screened for around 300 students and youth attending the events, the release stated.
The video focused on the eligibility criteria for various entries, training activities, living standards, and physical fitness requirements. Additional explanations were provided by representatives of the ARO.
A registration assistance counter for joining the Indian Army as an Agniveer was also set up, where ARO officials briefed students on the complete registration procedure, including the documents required, the release said.
Publicity materials such as posters, T-shirts, caps, and wristbands bearing the official website were distributed. A selfie point was also installed at the venue while a war movie was also screened.
