
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 16 (MExN): The Indian Dental Association Nagaland State Branch (IDANSB) has expressed solidarity with the Indian Medical Association (IMA) following the rape and murder of a postgraduate medical student at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata on August 9.
In response to the tragedy, IDANSB announced it would withdraw dental services for 24 hours, from August 17 to August 18, in support of the IMA’s call for action. The association condemned the violence and negligence faced by healthcare professionals and called for improved protection and respect for medical workers across the country. IDANSB emphasized the need for a safe working environment for all healthcare professionals and pledged continued support for efforts to ensure justice and protection for those in the field.
