Zisela Rüdithonger wins Witness Music solo gospel competition
Kiphire, October 8 (MExN): Under the theme ‘God in the Beat,’ a three-day Witness Music Conference (WMC) was organised by likeminded individuals from Kiphire district at the USBLA Retreat Center from October 3 to 5.
The main highlight of the conference was the Witness Music solo gospel competition. The competition was won by Zisela Rüdithonger, followed by Arola Jingrü 1st runner up and Vitila Sangtam 2nd runner up. The winners received cash prize of Rs 1,00,000; Rs 60,000 and Rs 30,000 respectively. The judges were Albert Jingrü, Moasunep EAC, Seyochung and Athrongba.
Zisela Rüdithongrü will be recording her original EP with five songs from a professional studio whiel Arola Jingrü and Vitila Sangtam will also be work on professional recording and music video by next year.
A press release received here stated that Engineer Sao Sangtam was the speaker at WMC. The other speakers were Dr Apise, Secretary USBLA, Rev Imti, Executive Secretary, USBLA and Alison, Associate Pastor, Kiphire Town Baptist Lithro.
WMC Convenor, Tethsomong said that Witness Music Conference is an exclusive contemporary platform for youth to revamp oneself spiritually as God’s witnesses and take their singing to professional level by winning the Witness Music Award. He stated that it is a Christian music organization with the mission to bring together people between the age group of 16-32 to revamp their faith and continue to stand as God’s witness at all times through music and scriptures.
