In a tragic turn of events, a 14-year-old boy was found dead on the basketball court within the premises of Mount Tiyi College on the afternoon of June 15.
According to police sources, the incident was reported at approximately 2:43 PM after the body was discovered by a local resident who happened to be passing through the area.
Authorities were promptly notified, and an initial investigation was carried out at the scene.
The boy had reportedly been missing since the night of June 14. However, the circumstances surrounding the timeline of events remain unclear.
Based on preliminary findings, the police stated that no foul play is currently suspected.
However, the police added that a thorough investigation is underway to determine the exact cause and circumstances of the boy’s death.
