ATMA, Wokha, Changpang block conducted a one day training cum demonstration on May 29 at Akuk Village. A press release from ATMA Changpang block stated that the resource person Yiben Patton, ATM trained the farmers on awareness, diagnosis and treatment of Fall Army Worm (FAW). Thunglamo Humtsoe, ATM, gave training on pest control in Arecanut plantation followed by a demonstration on straw mulching techniques and production of neem oil by Khyothungo Ezung BTM. ATMA Changpang block also undertook a field day on Integrated Pest Management. Neem oil, bio-fertilizers etc were distributed to the farmers. 17 farmers and 3 ATMA officials attended the programme.
