Wokha: Bharat Scouts & Guides district induction prog held

WOKHA, JUNE 17 (MExN): The Wokha District Bharat Scouts & Guides (BS&G) held an induction programme for the District Secretary and Treasurer at DC’s conference hall on June 15, a DIPR report informed. 

Sr SDEO, Wokha Mingthunglo Ngullie and IE Co-ordinator T Ezanthung Lotha were inducted as District Secretary and Treasurer respectively. The induction was done in the presence of Deputy Commissioner cum President BS & G, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan.

EAC (Sadar), Wokha Rosy Sangtam, speaking during the induction programme congratulated the two new inductees. Stating that Wokha Bharat Scouts & Guides is amongst one of the best performing BS & G in the state, she urged the team to continue working for the betterment of the organisation.

The new inductee also spoke and assured to work together to have a positive impact and wellbeing of Wokha BS&G.

During the programme, Scout Captain, Sulanthung of Santsuo School and Guide Captain, Wonchiben iKithan of Cistus School were awarded with certificates in recognition for their valuable service and contribution towards BS&G.

Later, the Wokha BS&G organised an awareness programme on blood donation for the senior Scout & Guides, where Chief Team Metamorphosis, Thungdemo Kyong was the resource person of the event. The programme was chaired by Vice President, BS&G cum President, Lotha Eloe Hoho, while Guide Captain Oreno Ngullie proposed the vote of thanks.
