Wokha DBDP discusses re-allocation of convergence fund under LADP

Wokha, June 9 (DIPR): The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on June 9 at DC conference hall, Wokha. The meeting was chaired by DC & Vice Chairman Wezope Kenye. Two new members were introduced namely DFO Doyang, Sentinaro and EE (R&B), Er. Mhathung Kikon.  

The board after deliberation approved registration of society for Ralan Old Baptist church and approval of scheme for re-allocation of convergence fund under LADP 2015-16 for 4 Assembly constituency under Wokha. The chairman thanked all for the successfully conducting the social work. He informed that the Chief Electoral Officer Nagaland will be visiting Wokha on June 15 and will hold a meeting with Head of departments, NGOs, BLOs, Supervisors District nodal officers, in this regard the DC requested all HoDs both Central and State government departments to attend the meeting without fail.

Superintendent of Police Wokha, Chumrenthung Lotha informed the members that Nagaland Police has introduced NPVMS (Nagaland Police Vehicles Monitoring System) to track lost of vehicles and urged all members to register the details of the vehicles from the Office of the SDPO, Wokha. He added that if offices are intimated with taxation or extortion from any quarter, he requested to report/inform the police so that timely action will be initiated.
