Wokha DC launches disinfectant fogging machine

Wokha, May 6 (MExN): The Deputy Commissioner of Wokha, Orenthung Lotha today launched a disinfectant fogging machine at the Wokha Chief Medical Officer’s office.

The DC stated that the fogging machine will be useful in combating the COVID-19 pandemic in the district.

The launch programme was chaired by CMO, Wokha, Dr CW Tungoe, who informed that the fogging machine was donated by the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland. Around 200 liters of one percent hypochlorite was also donated by Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton to be used in fogging activity at selected areas in Wokha town, he added. 

District Surveillance Officer, Dr. Thungbemo Patton gave a demonstration of the fogging machine. Deputy CMO, Wokha, Dr. Zuben Kikon meanwhile lauded the police and administration for their support to the Medical Department.
