WOKHA, November 5 (MExN): Wokha District achieved 96% coverage as on November 5 on Measles & Rubella Vaccination Campaign which kicked started on October 3. Out of the total targeted 18374 children 17680 has been vaccinated in the District.
In order to safeguard the children from the deadly Measles and Rubella disease, the Chief Medical Officer request those missed out children from schools and colonies who are yet to get the M-R vaccine may avail the vaccine from all the health units- Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital, CHC Bhandari, CHC Sanis, PHCs and town sub-centre at CMO office.
The District Health Society (H&FW) has congratulated the 28 Assam Rifles for achieving 100% in the first session itself and thanked them for arranging fuel during fuel crisis for the Medical Department vehicles which were scheduled to cover the far flung areas for M-RVC on November 3 and 4. The post DTFI on Measles Rubella will be held in the end of November 2018.
