Wokha, July 16 (MExN): The Wokha District Bharat Scout & Guides (BS&G) inducted Deputy Commissioner, Wokha Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS as the District President BS&G Wokha during the induction programme held at Deputy Commissioner conference hall on July 16.
During the programme, a DIPR report stated that, Sr SDEO Wobenthung Lotha was inducted as the District Secretary, while EAC, Wokha Rosy Sangtam was inducted as District Commissioner (G) BS&G and President Lotha Eloe Hoho Thungbeni Ngullie as Vice President BS&G, Wokha.
DC and President BS&G, Wokha speaking during the induction ceremony expressed gratitude for the honour bestowed abound him as the district president and assured his cooperation to work for the upliftment of the association.
“The sole philosophy behind BS&G is trust, harmony, loving each other and loyalty towards ones duty and our country,” the DC said while urging the young cadet to value these philosophies as these values are essential in building our society.
The induction ceremony was conducted by District Training Commissioner (S) Mhonbemo Kikon. Guide Captain, Oreno Ngullie chaired the induction programme, while District Training Commissioner (G) Abeni Ngullie proposed the vote of thanks.
