Wokha district hospital gets new X-ray machine and 4 ventilators

Wokha, July 2 (MExN): A dedication programme of a new x-ray machine and four ventilators at Dr Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha was held on July 2. 


A short prayer was pronounced by Rev. AbemoJungio, Pastor,Wokha Town Baptist Church. Chief Medical Officer Wokha, Dr CW Tungoe stated that the x-ray machine and ventilators were much needed requirements in the hospital as COVID-19 cases continue to spike in the state. 


He expressed gratitude to Dr ChumbenMurry, MLA and legislator-in-charge of COVID-19, who purchased the x-ray machine from the Local Area Development Fund. Medical Superintendent, Dr Tumchobeni informed that the four ventilators were received from the Health and Family Welfare Department and it will be installed in the hospital to handle any critical COVID-19 cases in the district.
