Wokha, February 21 (MExN): District Task Force meeting on IPPI was held on February 21 at DC conference hall Wokha to discuss regarding the National Immunization Day which is scheduled to be held on March 10. The meeting was attended by all blocks MOs and other line departments.
DIPR stated in a report that during the meeting Chief Medical Officer, Wokha Dr. Robin Lotha appealed all MOs to be in their respective place of posting to ensure that proper supervision is done on the day of immunization in their respective blocks to achieve the district projected target. He also informed that immunization will be administered to age group from 0-5 years.
Immunization will be carried out in 198 booths at different blocks under the district and on March 11 and 12 house to house visit will be carried out for house marking and immunize the left out children. Deputy Commissioner and Chairman District Health Society Wokha, Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon appealed all concerned to co-operate and extend support for the successful conduct of the immunization.
