Wokha, May 9 (DIPR): DC Wokha Wezope Kenya on behalf of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) members congratulated the successful students for bringing good name to the district in the HSLC & HSSLC results and added that the board will felicitate the toppers from the district in the next meeting. He stated this, while chairing the monthly meeting of the District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) Wokha on May 9 at DC’s conference hall.
While reviewing the last meeting minutes, the board discussed on mass plantation at Mt. Tiyi commemorating World environment Day on June 5. Wezope urged the members to come forward and extend support for the success of the plantation for healthier environment for the denizens of Wokha. He also said that very soon the district would experience improvement on road condition as the concern department is doing its best for total implementation. Principal GHSS Wokha, Emilo Patton presented a brief report on district performance on HSLC & HSSLC results. The Department of Food & Civil Supply presented power point on its activities in the district and the Department of Land Record & Survey (LRS) and Legal Metrological & Control Production (LMCP).
