Wokha entrepreneurs visit Mkg

An eight-member team of the Wokha District Entrepreneurs Association (WDEA) held a consultative meeting with the Mokokchung Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) at the latter’s conference hall here today.  

The visiting WDEA team was led by their president Pona Kikon, who also presented the MCCI a special craft carved by a local artisan from Wokha as a token of appreciation. As part of the joint sitting, the two business teams had an interactive session as part of the meeting where a wide range of issues were discussed, ranging from the menace of illegal immigrants, banking and finance issues faced by local entrepreneurs, availability of loans, women entrepreneurship and building mutual ties between the entrepreneurs of Mokokchung and Wokha. The meeting also agreed to have similar joint sittings in the future for building relationship.  

The visiting entrepreneurs from Wokha will be halting the night at Mopungchuket village and will be visiting Impur Mission Centre tomorrow before returning home.
