Wokha legislators review COVID-19 related activities

Wokha, August 27 (MExN): Nagaland DY CM also in charge of Wokha district for COVID-19, Y Patton along with Advisor for Horticulture and Border Affairs, Mhathung Yanthan visited Wokha town on August 27. 

A review meeting was held with the District Task Force (DTF) to assess and take stock of the situations and activities taken up related to COVID-19, stated a press release issued by the Media Cell, DY CMO office. 

The recent activities and overall scenario of the district was highlighted by the Deputy Commissioner Wokha, CMO and Frontline officials. 

Both Dy CM and Advisor expressed satisfaction and congratulated the Wokha DTF for the overall management and right measures adopted in fight against COVID-19 pandemic.  

The legislators urged the citizens to take the present situations with positive sense, “as COVID-19 is here to stay for long, so one must learn how to live with it.” 

Meanwhile, Patton expressed concerns about entry restriction in some villages and colonies and appealed to avoid such restrictions but to maintain and follow the government SOP and notifications issues from time to time.
