Wokha, July 13 (DIPR): The monthly District Planning and Development Board meeting was held on July 12 at DC conference hall, Wokha. The meeting was chaired by Vice Chairman DPDB & Deputy Commissioner Wokha, Wezope Kenye.
During the meeting the board resolved that for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration the following departments and NGOs namely DRDA, Food and Civil Supplies Department, District Administration and Catholic Church Wokha will carry out feeding of Jail inmates and patients at District Hospital, Mhondamo Memorial hospital and Assam Rifles hospital. Power point presentation highlighting the various activities and policies of the departments were presented by Dr. Motsuo Memorial District hospital, District AIDS control Unit and District Legal Services Authority Wokha.
The Chairman requested all Officers posted under Wokha district to discharge their assigned responsibilities effectively and urged them to strengthen their activities during their tenure for the welfare of the community. All Officers were also directed to be regular in their respective place of posting.
