DIMAPUR, JUNE 1 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force for COVID-19, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha has notified that the timing for opening of markets and shops at Wokha town has been relaxed from 7:00am to 4:00pm from Mondays to Saturdays with effect from June 1.
However, hotels, restaurants, salons and beauty parlors will remain closed as notified earlier. Measures for social distancing and hygiene shall be strictly followed by all shopkeepers and the public.
Further, the DC informed that odd and even policy for private vehicles shall come in to force from June 1. Movement of public and vehicles shall remain restricted from 6:00pm till 6:00am on all working days including Sundays except for District Administration, Police and Medical Department, medical emergencies and Government officials on duty.
