Wokha, August 27 (MExN): A herd of around 15 wild elephants has been reportedly stationed in Yanmhon Old village since August 19, destroying crops and disrupting normal life. As per a press release, the herd is reported to have extensively destroyed fields on August 19, including paddy as well as other agricultural and horticultural crops. The villagers further reported that the herd is still around the village, disturbing the normal life, it added.
