DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 3 (MExN): One woman was assaulted by miscreants at Shamator town on February 3, while she was out for shopping. Shamator Police informed that an FIR has been registered at Shamator Police Station and that investigation is underway. A press note from the Tikhir Students’ Union while condemning the incident, has urged the Nagaland state government to immediately book and arrest the culprits involved and give befitting punishment. It further appealed for sufficient security “so that no public and the students who are going to appear for exams be disturbed…”
