One woman was found dead in a hotel room in Dimapur. The body was discovered at Hotel Falcon on Saturday evening, August 31.
There was no word from the police but sources said that the woman’s lifeless body was found in the room sometime between 7:30-8:00 pm.
As per the sources, the woman (in her mid 20s) was on an extended stay in the hotel, having checked in around the first week of August.
On Saturday evening, there reportedly came no response when the hotel’s staff went to check on her. The police were subsequently informed. The motive and the cause of death remained unexplained.
The family of the deceased refused the conduct of post-mortem, while the police registered a suo moto case. The Dimapur police informed that it will be issuing an official statement.
