PAMA nominates new team of office bearers at its 11th general session

Phek, February 17 (MExN): The 11th general session of the Phek Area Mothers’ Association (PAMA) was held on February 15 at SIRD Hall, Phek Town with Avelü Ruho, Additional Deputy Commissioner, and (ADC) Phek as the guest speaker.


Speaking on the occasion, Ruho stressed on the importance of women in the community. She maintained that women have various responsibilities to shoulder with dedication to bring up the community to greater heights.”

An Association such as PAMA can initiate several beautiful programs to lead the womenfolk as role model in the community and thus urged upon the gathering to pursue things with positive mindset and attitude.


The session was chaired by PAMA Vice President Nedevolu Vadeo, former PAMA President, Veshenelu invokes God’s blessings, Presidential address was delivered by PAMA President, Besuvolu Venuh, Chakhesang Mothers’ Association (CMA) vice President, Ruyizolu Rhakho gave the greetings during the session, Chikhotalu and friends enthralled the gathering with their folk tune, reports were presented by the General Secretary and Treasurer of the Association. PAMA Publicity & Information Secretary, Adulu proposed words of gratitude while former PAMA and CMA President Zaposhelu Venuh pronounced the closing prayer.


A new team of Office Bearers for the tenure 2019-2021 was nominated with Shetalu Medeo for the President post, Akole Vero and Wekhroü Chizo for the post of Vice President and General Secretary respectively.


Vesatolu Chuzho led the dedication prayer for the newly elected office bearers.


Altogether 300 delegates from 22 affiliated villages and 11 colonies of Phek Town attended the daylong session, a press release form PAMA informed.
