Kohima, May 16 (MExN): The office building of Women SHG Federation Pfutsero Block was inaugurated today by Lanula Kronu, Superintendent, Department of Power, Nagaland.
Addressing the gathering, Kronu talked on the importance of SHG and said it benefits the society and facilitates income generation. She appreciated Women SHG Federation Pfutsero Block for their efforts to improve the state economy. She challenged the members to work with honesty, sincerity and accountability.
Vekhrolo Koza, BDO cum BMM, Zhalie Puro, ADPM, NSRLM Phek, Zhonelü Tunyi, president Chakhesang Mother’s Association and Nezelü Nyekha, executive director, Chakhesang Women Welfare Society also spoke at the programme.
Rev Dr Tshiilingupe Kapfo, pastor PTBC pronounced dedicatory prayer while by Nüvolü Chiero, convenor, building committee led the inaugural service. The inauguration of the office building was followed by annual general meeting of Women SHG Federation Pfutsero Block. A brief note of the building construction was given by Veliihii Vero. The meeting was chaired by Apfiile Kapfo while welcome address was delivered by Wepretsoü Kupa. SHG Porba Village and Kewekhro L Mero presented folk tune and special number respectively.
