DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 28 (MExN): Nagaland defeated Sikkim by 47 runs in the Women’s senior One Day Trophy at Puducherry today.
Nagaland, who chose to bat first, put up a target of 113 runs before being bowled out in 43.2 overs. The top scorers for Nagaland were Sentilemla, Munia and Ayantika who score 17 runs each.
Despite the small target, Sikkim could only muster 66 runs before being bowled out in 40.4 overs. Madhumonti was Nagaland’s highest wicket taker with 3 wickets, while Nazma took 2 wickets
