
Kohima, January 2 (MExN): Former president of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee and MLA, K V Pusa has urged people to forgive and forget the past and to work for peace and unity with renewed vigour. Addressing the golden jubilee celebration of Kezo Town Baptist Church at Kezo town on December 31 last, the congress lawmaker said the desire of Naga people is peace and progress, and therefore all sections of Naga society should come together and work for peace and unity.
He urged people to follow the example set by Joseph in the bible how he had forgiven his brothers who had tried to kill him. He said time has come for the Naga people to follow the example set by Joseph. Pusa also urged people of Kezo town to forgive each other and work cohesively for the progress of the society. The congress leader also wished the people of Nagaland a happy and prosperous new year. On the concluding day, Rev. Keviyiekielie Linyu, executive director, Angami Baptist Church Council brought the message of god to the congregation. The baptist clergyman conducted a lords supper for the congregation which was followed by a jubilee feast. Earlier Phesachodu Choir from Phek district and the jubilee choir presented special songs.
