Dimapur, August 30 (MExN): A one day sensitization workshop on Adverse Effect Following Immunization (AEFI) cum District Microplan review meeting for Measles Rubella Vaccination Campaign was conducted at CMO Office, Dimapur conference hall on August 29.
The workshop was conducted for Medical Officers and District Program Manager, a release from District Media Office, CMO Office informed.
Dr Supongmenla Walling, Dy CMO, Peren welcoming the gathering briefed on the AEFI. She also highlighted the dos and don’ts and roles and responsibilities of the medical officers during AEFI.
Attending the workshop, Dr Archana RRT (WHO), Peren spoke on AEFI management during MR campaigns and AEFI reporting during MR campaigns.
Dr Nukshisangla Jamir, DPO UIP/RCH highlighted on the microplan reviews.
Thereafter, presentation of microplan was delivered by Melenguonuo, BPM Peren, Rayilungwangle BPM, Jalukie, Temsumenla BPM, Athibung and Menulelo Toso BPM, Tening. Issues related to microplanning were also discussed. The program was chaired by Ramokla, SHP, Coordinator.
