Dimapur, August 8 (MExN): A workshop on aviation, hospitality & personality development organized by Phoenix Institute of Aviation & Hospitality in collaboration with CAN Youth was conducted in Conference Hall, Tourist Lodge, Dimapur on August 7.
A press release issued by the CAN Youth stated that the programme was chaired by Kivitoli Chishi, Secretary, CAN Youth which started with a short formal session graced by students from different colleges, Dimapur, members of Dimapur Nagaland Students Union (DNSU) and facilitators from the Phoenix Institute. In the programme, Kevibeinuo Keditsu, Secretary, Women Affairs, DNSU encouraged the participants to not fall as a prey to the criticisms and mocking thrown by the people or your society instead learn to grow stronger with it and be independent to achieve your own goals as an individual.
The workshop was carried out by Sapna Kalita, Director of Phoenix Institute, Guwahati and Miss Soyim, Relationship Manager for Nagaland, Phoenix Institute, Guwahati with various activities based on ethics, communication and personality skills, the participants were also highlighted on the criteria that need to be fulfilled to be a cabin crew and the misconceptions people have about aviation industry.
The facilitators also picked out some pointers on advantages and disadvantages of the Aviation Industry. They further stressed on the virtue a women holds in her life and encouraged them to not give up and learn to overcome the criticisms faced in every phase of life as women.
A total of 28 students participated in the workshop.
