Workshop on cyber crime and security held

DIMAPUR, AUGUST 22 (MExN): Keeping in mind that the culture of social media and cyber threat to children in the digital world is a reality today, Pilgrim Higher Secondary, Dimapur along with Harper Collins Publication, India jointly organized a one day Workshop on Cyber Crime & Security at Pilgrim Higher Secondary, Kuda B, Dimapur with Rakshit Tandon as the resource person on August 22.  

A press note informed that the first session was with the parents and guardians, the second session with the students of class 7 – 12 and final session concluded with the faculty staff. Some of the topics covered were: Advantages and proper usage of internet, safe surfing and online gaming, cyber hygiene, netiquettes, implications of flouting cyber laws. He also advised students to be careful about online chatting, posting & forwarding of photos and feeds etc.  

The resource person, Rakshit Tandon, is an Ethical Hacker, Microsoft Certified Professional, Computer Forensic Expert, advisor, trainer, member & consultant of various Police Academy & State Police Forces of India.
