Wokha, December 20 (DIPR): Workshop on digital financial awareness for VLE, Village Level Entrepreneurs was held on December 19 at DC’s conference hall, Wokha.
Common Service Centre, District Manager J. Abenthung Kikon gave a briefing about the various mediums of application available where financial transaction can be made digitally. He apprised the Village Level Entrepreneurs regarding campaign for registration of beneficiaries and the role of volunteers where volunteers are to carry out door to door sensitization of citizens on digital financial services and introduce cashless payment system to citizens.
He also stressed on the features and benefits of the medium available and added that for implementation of the project the team will be carrying out different activities across the nation.
The workshop was conducted in collaboration with Department of Information Technology & Communication.
