Kohima, June 25 (MExN): A two day workshop on Government eMarket organized by Finance Department, Government of Nagaland in collaboration with Government eMarket (GeM), Government of India is underway at Kohima on June 25 and 26 in the Directorate of Information Technology & Communication, Thizama.
DIPR stated in a report that Commissioner & Secretary to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Abhishek Singh, IAS graced the function and inaugurated the GeM workshop. Altogether, 38 departments, three entrepreneurs and official from Nagaland Hotels Limited besides OSD Budget, V. Kezo along with officials from Finance Department attended the first day training session.
The main objective of the training was to provide hands on training to the state government officials and registration of users on the portal as well as to familiarize the officers of the departments in the use of the GeM portal. Under this training, local producers and entrepreneurs who are interested in getting themselves registered on the GeM portal may attend in the afternoon sessions with prior intimation to Finance department at the mail addressfindeptt@gmail.com
Vice President, Government e-Market Place (GeM), Upmith Singh along with the following GeM MSP Training team members namely Ramanathan V, Jayavadichu Raja, Uday and Megha Chopra have been deployed for two day training.
