Kohima, June 25 (MExN): A ‘State Level Resource Person’s Workshop’ of the National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC) was organized by the Nagaland Institute of Health, Environment & Social Welfare (NIHESW) Kohima at the DIC conference hall, Kohima on June 22. Jayanta Kumar Sharma, Member of the National Academy Committee of NCSC was the resource person.
A press release from NCSC State Coordinator, Santu Thapa informed that the focal theme of NCSC for the year 2018 & 19 is ‘Science, Technology and Innovation for Clean, Green and Healthy Nation’.
Children from all over the country will work on and present projects under the theme at the district, state, and national level congress, it added.
NCSC is a programme of the National Council for Science & Technology Communication, Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
At the Kohima workshop, the inaugural programme was chaired by Santu Thapa, introduction to NCSC was given by Dr. Pallav Changkakotti, State Academic Coordinator.
