Zunheboto, June 14 (DIPR): A workshop cum rally on ‘ Role of Water and Sanitation towards Healthy Living’ was held at DC Hill Prayer Fellowship, Zunheboto on June 14. The workshop was organised by Women Department, SBCZ and sponsored by WSSO, PHED.
Senior Pastor, SBCZ, Yevito Sumi who graced the program spoke on importance of water in our daily lives and urged the participants to live a hygienic life for better health and safety.
SDO, PHED, Er. I. Vinili Sema spoke on the necessity of sanitation in the society. Do’s and Don’ts for better sanitation and important tips to reduce water usage and wastage were deliberated during the workshop.
Chemist, PHED, Benathung Tsopoe spoke on Water Quality and sensitize on water conservation and proper water distribution. He also said, water crisis is fast becoming a reality and urged for improving management practices and enhance the beneficial use of water.
The program was chaired by Assistant Pastor, Vikali Zhimo while vote of thanks was proposed by Associate Pastor, Kasheli Rotokha.
