Mon, August 13 (MExN): Workshop on Measles-Rubella vaccination campaign was held on at Council Hall, Mon on August 13. Dr. K. Elizabeth, MO SHP; Dr. Kumkiuba, MO; Dr. Thungbeni, MO SHP and Maiwang Co-ordinator SHP were the resource persons during the workshop.
During the training, the resource persons emphasized on the importance of MR vaccination for children from 9 months to 15 years of age where every child should be vaccinated on this deadly diseases and to make India Measles-Rubella free from 2020. The role of ANMs, AWWs and ASHAs were also given in details by the resource persons for the successful conduct of MR campaign which is going to start from October 3.
Eighteen ANMs, Fifty-five Anganwadi workers and thirty-seven ASHAs workers under Mon Block Task Force on Immunization attended the workshop/training. Pongchai Konyak, BPM Mon Sadar chaired the workshop.
