Atoizu, September 23 (MExN): A block-level orientation and workshop for the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan was convened at Jubilee Hall, Atoizu on September 22.
The programme was presided over by Dr Samuel Akho Konyak P, NCS, Extra Assistant Commissioner of Atoizu and Block Nodal Officer, who delivered the keynote address outlining the objectives and modalities of the Abhiyan.
Master Trainers for the block included Dr Gihuka Chishi, Medical Officer, Atoizu; Innoto K Achumi, Senior Supervisor, Social Welfare Department, Atoizu; and Vitoka from the Rural Development Department, Akuhaito. They conducted the technical sessions and training components.
Attendees were drawn from a wide cross-section of stakeholders from Atoizu Sub-division, including representatives of the Atoizu Town Council, Village Councils, Gaon Buras, VDB Secretaries, Anganwadi Workers, ASHAs, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs).
The orientation covered the framework of the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan, roles and responsibilities of functionaries, convergence of departments, and mechanisms for grassroots implementation. The workshop emphasised participatory planning and the alignment of local bodies with the central and state directives of the Abhiyan.
