
KOHIMA, APRIL 3 (MExN): CUTS International is organizing Cyber Safe East India- Workshop on Cyber Security for MSMEs and Women Entrepreneurs (Phase-III) on April 4 at YouthNet Head office, Kohima from 9:30 AM onwards.
The workshop will talk on US Consulate views on the importance of Cyber Security for the MSMEs and women entrepreneurs.
Opening address will be delivered by Nuneseno Chase, Director YouthNet Nagaland while Sumanta Biswa, senior programme officer, CUTS International will deliver the welcome address.
The workshop will also witness special address from Abhishek Mishra, additional director, Software Technology, Park of India (STPI), Government of India.
The project aims at building capacities of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) and Women entrepreneurs on various cyber security threats, and equip them with the required knowledge on available technologies, and good practices (both at the national and international level) to help them reduce their vulnerabilities to cyber-attacks.
Experts from the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India will be providing the training. The project is being supported by US Consulate, Kolkata, India.
