KOHIMA, JULY 4 (MExN): Workshop for dissemination of comprehensive Universal Immunization Programme (UIP) review on development of immunization coverage improvement plan was held on May 3 at De-Oriental Hotel, Kohima.
This workshop was held with vision to protect every child with vaccine preventable disease through achieving 95% full immunization coverage, a press release issued by the IEC Bureau, Directorate of Health and Family Welfare informed.
The workshop is a continuation of the ITSU- Ministry of Health and Family Welfare comprehensive review of Universal Immunization Coverage in the State which was held from June 11-18.
Resource persons led by Dr Harpreet Singh, Dr Kamlesh Kumar, Dr Sonu Gupta, Dr Swadesh Prasad, Paras Jain, Dr Sandeep Rathod, Dr Mona Chopra, Ashok Sharma, Dr Rajashree Roy, Mahesh Mishra and Satish Kumar covered various topics on program implementation, AEFI & VPD surveillance, logistics and supply chain, data recording and reporting, communication, urban immunization. The workshop concluded with a group work presentation.
