Dimapur, October 28 (MExN): The Innovation and Development Committee(IDC), Pranab College organised an awareness programme on the topic ‘AI tools and the ethical use of AI’ on October 28. The resource person was Vevekananda, Associate Professor HOD, Department of Computer Science and engineering, St Joseph University as a resource person.
He spoke on various AI tools that are transforming industries and educational practices. He also emphasized the ethical considerations of AI, such as data privacy,
bias in algorithms, and responsible use of technology. His talk encouraged participants to view AI not just as a tool for convenience but as a responsibility that requires moral and social awareness.
The session concluded with Q&A.
The programme was chaired by BendangmonglaLemdur, Associate Professor, Department of Commerce and the vote of thanks was delivered by UllaLaureen FernandezAssociate Professor, Department of Education.
