Workshop on photography and Python programming

Dimapur, June 24 (MExN): Instudia, Dimapur conducted a two-day workshop on basic photography skills and Python Programming at Instudia, Dimapur with resource persons Akumyanger L Jamir (Aakum Den), a renowned photographer and Proprietor of ‘Studio Lagom’, and Vishal Bardewa, Sr Software Developer, Value Labs on June 23 and 24. 

According to s press release from Instudia, the resource person Akumyanger L Jamir gave a clear picture of different kinds of cameras and lens used by professional photographers for shooting different objects and situations. Jamir also trained the students on technical elements like composing photos besides sharing his experience. He also encouraged the students to be open to the unique needs of Naga people in photography profession in Nagaland.

On the second day, the participants were divided into small groups and asked to take pictures in a restricted time limit. The participants were also introduced to various kinds of photography and helped to choose their favorite style of photography based on their personal preferences, the release stated.

Meanwhile, Vishal Bardewa gave on the overview and importance of Python programming, its importance in the current job market, the scope and career prospect, and also also highlighted about the current scenario with respect to remote working culture.

Bardewa also shared building web applications using Django framework and implementing basic system design for deployment of an application to different environments, it said.

Instudia Management, Daniel Changkija and Mughato Swu gave concluding notes with words of encouragement to the participants informing that the Institute would be initiating more programmes as well as workshops and masterclasses in the days to come.
