Kohima, August 12 (MExN): Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) has informed all wards/colonies under Kohima jurisdiction that the District Tobacco Cell, Kohima is conducting sensitization workshop on harmful effects of tobacco and COTPA for the shopkeepers selling tobacco products in Kohima in batch wise (see schedule) on August 24, 26, 30, 31 and September 1 at 11:00 am at KMC conference hall. All the wards/colonies have been requested to send two representatives each to the workshop.
Schedule of the workshop: August 24 – High School and Bayavu – Peraciezie, Themezie, Sepfuzou, Rokabozou, High School, Bayavu (Upper, Middle, Lower), Lower Kenuosou, Veterinary/ Pezielitsie, Kezekie; August 26 – Town area + Officers’ Hill + PR Hill – Nagabazar, Kitsubozou, D Block, Daklane, Midland (Upper, Middle, Lower), Hospital Colony; August 30 – PWD (Upper, Middle, Lower), Poterlane, Chandmari (Upper, Middle, Lower); August 31 – Old Ministers’ Hill, New Ministers’ Hill, Mhonkhola, AG (Upper & Lower), Lerie, NST, New Police Reserve; September 1 – Agri Forest (Upper & Lower), Forest Colony, Electrical Colony, Paramedical Colony.
