Dimapur, June 9 (MExN): The District Child Protection Unit (DCPU, Dimapur) in collaboration with the Nagaland Affiance for Children and Women Rights (NACWR) will commemorate the World Day against Child Labour on the theme ‘End Child Labour in Supply Chains’ on June 11 (Saturday), 10:00 a.m. at Elim Hall, DABA, Duncan Bosti, Dimapur. The World Day Against Child Labour falls on June 12, but the organizers have decided to commemorate it on June 11.
The penal speakers are Dr Temsula Ao, chairperson, Nagaland State Women’s Commission; Khekiye Sema, IAS Retd; Shikyo Zalipu, general secretary, GB Federation; and Rev Dr Wati Aier, principal, OTS.
Ivitoli Swu, child right movement will be the child speaker while Love care Home, Darogapathar will present a special presentation. Others participants are Hukheli Wotsa, president, Naga Women Hoho Dimapur; Dr. KPA Iiyas, IPS, Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-II Dimapur; Esther Aye, panel lawyer, legal advisor NACWR; and Dr Aküm Longchari, Editor, The Morung Express.
This will be followed by discussion hour with concluding remarks by K Ela, advisor, NACWR and closing prayer by Fr Chacko Karinthayil, Rector Good Shepherd Seminary, Dimapur.
