School students taking a pledge on World Heart Day in Mokokchung on September 29.
MOKOKCHUNG, OCTOBER 1 (MExN): World Heart Day was observed in Mokokchung on September 29 by creating awareness of Cardio Vascular diseases (CVDs) in Jubilee Memorial Higher Secondary School, Edith Douglas higher Secondary School, Town higher Secondary School and Mayangnokcha Higher Secondary School.
The event was organized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Mokokchung.
A press release from the Chief Medical Officer, Mokokchung stated that on the occasion students took a pledge for a healthy heart and IEC materials on cardio vascular disease and nutrition were distributed with an aim to educate the students based on prevention of cardio vascular Diseases and adopting healthy lifestyles.
