‘Wrong circulation of syllabus’ in GMS Kukidolong, alleges SRSU

Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): A team from Sakipheto Range Students’ Union (SRSU) conducted surprise visits to all government schools under the Sakipheto jurisdiction on September 26.  

SRSU, President, Shiluvi Ayemi and General Secretary, Botovi Yepthomi in a press release stated that during the visit it was detected in GMS Kukidolong that “there were wrong circulation of syllabus” creating confusing among the teachers and students. Therefore, it requested the authority concerned “to be more cautious as the future of the students is at stake.”  

The SRSU also said that during their brief visit to other government schools, it observed that the infrastructure of GPS Kupuhe and GMS Hekheshe were in deplorable conditions and needed upgradation.  

The Union while appreciating the “regularity and sincerity of teachers in some schools” has requested school authorities to conduct more parents-teachers meet.  

The Head of the school were also requested to ensure good results and keep the school environment clean. “The schools would be again re-visited to monitor the improvements,” the SRSU added.
