Dimapur, March 5 (MExN): The Western Rengma Students Union, Nagaland (WRSUN) held a "Picnic cum Social gathering" of its executives and members on March 4 at a riverside in New Chumukedima.
A press release from the union also congratulated Dr. Shurhozolie for being elected the Chief Minister. “We wish him success in his endeavor to bring change in Nagaland and pray that God bless him and his cabinet,” the union stated. The union also paid tribute to the “fallen brothers” of the ULB issue and extended prayers to the families.
Meanwhile, the union has informed all concerned that there will be a social work for clearing, cleaning and construction of temporary fence for the Rengma Martyr Cemetery at Khatkhati on March 10. Members of WRSUN are to compulsorily attend the Social work while other Rengma youths are welcome to volunteer for the cause, the release stated.
