Dimapur, February 9 (MExN): The Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou Küghakulu (WSBAK) has expressed deep pain at the present happenings in the Naga society.
The stalemate between the leaders of the tribal Hohos and the state government has been going for so long. “This imbroglio should be brought to a logical conclusion. Both the opposing parties must find an amicable solution in a peaceful manner,” a press note from WSBAK Executive Secretary Rev. Dr. Hevukhu Achumi stated.
Keeping in mind the welfare of the people, WSBAK requested all stakeholders involved in the recent impasse to come to a meeting point sooner the better. “Contemplating for long will not bring any good for all of us,” WSBAK said while appealing to everyone concerned “in the name of God” to avoid violence and find solution at the earliest. “We request all the churches to pray sincerely for God's intervention,” it added.
